Volunteer Run Libraries

On 5 July 2011 Ealing Council decided after all not to close Hanwell, Northfields, Northholt and Perivale Libraries. However presumably the financial shortfall still exists, so does anyone know when volunteers will take over running these three libraries? I know that structural repairs were needed at Hanwell and Perivale Libraries. Have these been carried out I wonder?

So no-one seems to know about the ongoing finances of the now-not-threatened Libraries?And the capital works needed at Hanwell and Perivale Libraries? Are these going to go ahead as if by magic now?

They may have re-ordered the finances - fingers crossed noone will lose their job to be replaced by a volunteer
