Ealing loses £3 million

In its rush to reduce illegal immigration has the Government decided to close ALL English Language schools nation-wide? There are many of these in Ealing. Young people from all over the world come here in their droves to improve their English. Host families receive an income from looking after them when they are here. They probably spend in the local shops. Will these closures leave a £3,000,000 dent in our local economy?

Young people do not IMO enter illegally to study. The illegal part is staying on after the visa expires. The Border Agency under Labour was incredibly inefficient. Perhaps those were the instructions of their political masters? Who knows? Now the whisper is that the Border Agency is tightening up. That is that I hear on my regular visits to Harmonsworth Immigration Removal Centre. I have also met someone for whom having a pregnant English wife and a child was not family enough for them to remain here. I can only presume they had a rubbish lawyer.
