Yes. I did not spot it was an old article. But 'hobby horse', I think not. I previously resurrected the subject once but I have done far more initiations for example on the subject of meets for forum members.

FFS... "more" what? Naked bigotry?(a)this is the Daily Mail, that is what they do. I would bet they suggested the soldier kip outside for the sake of a good story - the photo is posed, for sure. I'm slightly puzzled why anyone would sleep in a car worth several £k rather than sell it and spend it on housing themselves. Specially as the DM normally hates travellers too.(b)the story is dated 24 October 2008. (c)the final sentence is "The Saiedis face eviction after a public outcry". Happy now?(d)we've since had a recession, an election, a new government and new housing benefit rules that limit assistance with rent to considerably less than market rents. Lose your job = lose your home, rather often now.It never was the fault of the Afghani tenants, but insane government policy coupled with private landlord greed.

Hatred incites hatred which your sarcasm suggests.Your comment for me is not so very covert racist discrimination. The unlawful variety. It is not helpful.We have major problems due to past immigration policies and cannot undo what has been done. I have simply asked how will they be dealt with as regards homelessness.If you wish to stay on the same groove of your record I shall leave you to get on with it.

You're absolutely right George.The are no people preaching hatred of Britian living here at everyone else's expense.All our benefit claimants,particularly those from countries which are percieved to house terrorists are squeaky clean,fine upstanding citizens who would never plot agianst us.7/7 was just a figment of our collective imagination.

Come on, your first post wasn't really an intelligent contribution.I am too busy at the moment, but the key piece of information is whether the Housing benefit Rules have changed or will change. There has been some backtracking by the Coalition on how extensive the HB changes will be and I think you should find out the present position, and how that might affect this family or people like them.Perhaps you could dig this up and report back later.

This example is a fairly good allegory of our modern Britain.If I were a member of the Taleban,I would not bother to take up a gun in Afghanistan.I would smuggle myself into Britain and put my hand out and eventually the state would put something in it and a roof over my head.I'd then have as many kids as I could and teach them what a bunch of b*****ds the  British were.Simples.
