Prostitution and the Illegal Sex Trade in the Borough

'On 29 September 2011, Ealing Council’s Scrutiny Review Panel 1 will be reviewing Prostitution and the Illegal Sex Trade in the Borough - to consider this problem with a particular focus on the ‘on-street’ trade and the work underway to tackle it.The Panel is keen to hear the views of the local community on this issue.'Are my eyes closed or is it all out of sight?

Well we have had murders and riots so I'm not surprised prostitution is on the list...

There is a heck of a lot of prostitution in Southall and it is not at all difficult to see ladies 'plying their trade' often from early evening.

Now the Town Hall is mentioned I recall there was a liberal councillor in the mid nineties who had a campaign to expose brothels in the borough,

Once out of countless times waiting for a late night bus outside the town hall I was aproached by a woman who asked if I would like to take her home for the night.
