Help with finding a rental flat

A friend has asked me to help him find a 3/4 bedroomed house to rent in the Ealing area (about 1500 pcm). Have to be good schools nearby (year  4 & 5 & nursery plus 2 younger ones) Any tips?  Is there a one stop shop or do I need to round all the Estate  Agents??? plus I'm not a parent so know bugger all about schools !

Some very good schools in Ruislip. But check out W13/W7 (within Fielding catchment area); oustanding school and houses within budget.

"A 3/4 bed house will be approx £4,000 per month."Where the hell are you looking?Although I couldn't find any 4 bedroom houses for £1500pcm even the briefest of internet searches found 21 3 or 4 bedroom houses in W13 /W5 for under £1800pcm.Extend the search to W7 and W3 and the £1500pcm is achivable.

I know nothing about schools too, but start by advising about rental prices in Ealing. A 3/4 bed house will be approx £4,000 per month.  Property websites such as RightMove.com are useful, there are many and they all have rental sections. I would use these rather than one agent. However, I can recommend Northfields Estate Agents if you want to go down that route.

I'd start by telling your friend to check out the 'good' schools first. No point in renting anything close-by if the schools are full (as the good ones tend to be). It's a good time to check as schools will know in the next 7-10 dyas if they have any places unfilled for the upcoming academic year.
