Hanwell Carnival

Just a reminder it's Hanwell Carnival on Saturday, The procession starts at 11.30 at The Community Centre , At Elthorne Park there are 2 stages - Music and Community - charity stalls, trade stalls, a fairground, Kirby's Flying Ballet - food and a beer tent! They will also be attempting to set the world record for the biggest gathering of people wearing dressing gowns so bring yours (there will be a cloakroom set up so you don't have to lug it around all afternoon), Let's just hope it doesn't rain! The carnival is on both Facebook and Twitter for extra updates.

Cracking afternoon and well done to all who organised or helped keep this community event alive.Have to say though that almost getting hailstones in my pint of Pride was a 'dampener' :-)

Procession 11.30 from Community Centre (gets to the Park around 12.30) . The GWR / Dressing gowns is indeed 4pm. Both stages - Music starts at 12.30 Community stage at 1,00. Plus there';s a fair, petting zoo, kirby's Flying Ballet - charity and trade stalls - and all for local charities!
