Has anyone got any recommendations for a restaurant for a birthday dinner for about 15 people?

As it's a special occasion The Grange on Ealing Common has a Summer House for up to 25 people which means you can have a private dining room for a small fee! Food was great last Friday night http://www.thegrangelondon.com/Call 020 8567 7617 and ask for Tilly

I've been really impressed with Cote last few times. The interior is lovely and its very reasonably priced.

They used to be good, but somewhat faded. Hare & Tortoises is reasonable and trendy

Thanks for the suggestions... usually go to Maxim's but fancied a change. Someone has suggested Fat Boys Thai in Brentford; anyone been there for a party?

I agree re: Lisa's. Nice food, reasonably priced. The decor is somewhat 1970s, but the atmosphere is lovely.Another possibility would be Maxim's on Northfield Avenue, which is notable not only for its excellent Chinese food but also the fantastic decor and atmosphere, which makes it feel like a destination venue.

Lisa's Restaurant on Pitshanger Lane. Excellent food, good value and service. They're open from Tuesday to Saturday evenings. Would probably open Mondays if you had 20+ people. Telephone number 020 8991 2319.
