Doctor recommendation

Hello, I've recently moved from Acton to W13 and have to leave my old doctor and find one locally. Does anyone have a recommendation for an individual doctor/practice?

Another vote for Robert. He has 'settled in' well and does take time to listen.

The doctors at Northfields surgery (where I used to be registered) are fine, but the receptionists are a bit snotty and the waiting room is cramped and can get swelteringly hot. The doctors at Ealing Park Health Centre on South Ealing Road (where I am now registered) are also AOK, but the building is much more modern and spacious. Consequently the whole experience is far more pleasant. I can't speak for any of the other places mentioned.

Dr McLaren at the Northfields Surgery has always been great with us and my kids, takes time to listen and to explain. Very much recommended.

I would also suggest northfields practice first doctors I have felt happy with in many many years, Dr Warren especially

Dr Maria Waters at Elthorne Park Surgery in Elthorne Park Road. Brilliant doctor, caring, forthright, thorough and does Saturday morning apointments for commuters. Can't recommed her highly enough.

Northfield Surgery (61 Northfield Avenue, 020 8567 1612) are as good as any I guess. They are my local surgery but I do miss the days when appointments were far more flexible.

They've sent us a letter saying we are outside their catchment and asking us to find new doc within 4 weeks!

Think they have changed the rules now & U don't *have* to change - it's not like there are any home visits any more ....
