Greek family moving to Ealing -football

Hello allWe are a Greek family moving to ealing or acton this summer, in order for our children to attend the Greek Primary School. We are looking for after school activities for our boys, aged 8 and 7. They are into football, martial arts (tae Kwon do) and art. Any affordable suggestions.?

There is also a Tennis club near there that has a nice social thing for kids

There is another really good football event for children in the area and that is near Osterley tube station. On Friday evenings there is a training programme for the Hanwell Football Club youth and childrens football programmes and teams at the Indian Gymkhana Club. This is an excellent esperience for footballing children and teenagers, though I am not sure at what age they start. There is also the added benefit that you can sit and watch your children play from the upstairs bar and terrace while enjoying a coffee, or a beer, or even a very reasonably priced curry.

Also the Bunny Park in Hanwell to see the animal centre. lots of parks and lots of open space in the borough

There's also the W13 youth centre in West Ealing at the West Ealing end of Mattock Lane which has football for kids.

The MUGA (multi-user games area) just south of Occupation Lane in the Clayponds Park opposite the Ealing Park Tavern on the South Ealing Road is always good for a kick-around. There is a regular football coaching session on Saturdays for children in the Boston Manor sports centre behind the school on the Boston Manor Road (starts at 11.00 am and costs around £3 or £3.50 per child for the hour (I don't remember the exact details) which is very good as it actually teaches football skills in a small group.
