waste of electricity at tube stations
Why are all the platform lights at Northfields station ( and many other stations) left on all day even in bright sunshine. It must waste thousands of pounds Please don't say 'Health and Safety' !Does someone working for tfl have an explanation. Perhaps they can also say why some years ago electronic information boards were installed on the platforms at Northfields and South Ealing ( again on other stations as well) and yet they never display any information about the next trains or even any train information. The money wasted could have been used to pay booking office staff.
