This is such a common story. How can landlords justify massive rent rises in a time of economic restraint when many businesses are already struggling? It just ends with the site left boarded up and probably vandalised.

My son and daughter's favourite coffee shop.Big Chris was a lovely guy but he had to close when his rent was 'hiked' apparently.
