Labour Group Complete Madness

1.7 million on the old YMCA building, 1 million on shortening desks, 5.5 million on an anti-environmental car park... For an insight into the decision making process behind the Labour Group a visit on most nights to the Trade Union Club on Acton High Street (which professes to be an inclusive venue for all - except Ealing's disabled by implication of the Labour Groups withdrawal of facilities for the disabled) you can witness the drunken and debauched decision making process that the Labout Group indulges in.Drunken madness!

It would be nice if the Labour Group turned around and said: "Come use our Trade Union club all you disabled people when we close your facilities", however, I do not think that that is going to happen. Look at their website and that will give you some idea of the power structure there and then ask the people who run it if due to its "inclusive" nature as a safe harbour for people free from discrimination regardless of gender, belief, sexual orientation (as it professes to be) etc if it would welcome Ealing's disabled when the disabled day centres are closed?

Suggest you spend some time in the Trade Union Club in Acton (CAMRA members are allowed entry there). I speak from experience. No, I am not American, I have spent all my life in Ealing and been lied to to my face by Labour councillors.

As they used to say on The Men From The Ministry, 'Lucky it's only public money'. Local councils never seem to have got over that mindset.

Maggie,The Conservative lot are just a bad. I suggest a visit to the South Ealing Conservatve Club (SECC) next to Saint Mary's Church. On Mondays and Wednesday in the evenng you can see all of the Conservative freemasons trotting in and out of the masonic temple upstairs in the Con Club in full regalia. The Labour group hangs out with the desk-cutting knee-jerk looney left in the Trades Union Club, while the Conservatives hand out with the freemasons.
