Well for starters, decent comfortable seats, and plenty od lower deck seats. a helping hand of a conductor, no tolerance of yobs, drunks and scammers, well thought and positioned grab rails, a bell cord that could be easily reached instead of buttons on poles which are hidden when full of standing passengers. Proper destination displays with all the via points. Buses that could negotiate small roads more easily. Windows that wound down in the summer.New buses vary from OK to awful. For example the E2 and 237 have really good seats, The 65 really awful (especially if you have even a mild back ailment. But the best of the old has been disguarded instead of incorporated.
