For Better or for Worse our NHS is Changing .
I have heard the Voices of Change being described to us as necessary "Improvements " and I have not been able to digest the claims of those who are planning and leading the drive towards the Changes. The truth as I see it is,that the lack of Government Finance to sustain it in its present form is the only part of the TRUTH. I am not convinced it is for the BETTER. The Sheer enormity of the task of changing the System to be run by practicing Doctors with the help of a vastly reduced purse, is asking for too much. I hear that at least 1500 or more, Volunteers are needed for our sector alone. Who will these volunteers Be? Retired ,inexperienced ,untrained People.? I am inclined to feel that the scheme will end in every NHS user having to Pay a fee for each visit to the GP. It will just about keep the NHS going as before. There is no room for optimism
