Telco Xmas tree...next the eggs

ive just realised that for the second year Tesco Hoover building hasn't bothered to have the usual traditional 20ft tree outside the store. Poor things, times must be hard. Even the tree inside the store by the customer service desk had gone by Boxing Day. Guess it had served it's purpose...the Easter eggs will be on display soon. NO wonder the year spins round so fast!

I must be in the minority when I wish we wouldnt always look so far ahead. Ive just had an email booking a table for 2 at my rstaurant for valentine's day. Very nice but I hadnt even thought about the day yet let alone planned anything.

and the best before dates will be before Easter won't they?  It is a plan, a cunning plan, to tempt you to buy and then you are tortured with the thought of these delicacies in the cupboard until one miserable day you are unable to resist and you give in and eat them ...  and have to buy all over again.

Are you sure they're not on display already?  We still have to eat and the supermarkets still have their profits.I also understand that they have reduced their recycling facilities AND they still don't identify their packaging for recycling purposes anything like as well as Sainsbury's - so the local authorities (ie us) end up paying more for it to go to landfill.So if you do find yourself there - leave your excess packaging at the till!
