Going grocery shopping in Ealing Mall today?

I went in just after nine and found the lifts out of order so no way to get a shopping trolley back to the car. Finally found that the small one round near the toilets was working. Maybe things have improved as it gets a bit less cold, but I thought I'd post this warning.

An update for all you late Christmas shoppers-the main Mall is not too crowded; Marks and Spencers is okay and the pound shops are fairly accessible. Much less crowded overall than the average Saturday afternoon.Happy hunting!Maggie.

If you are just colleting meat, can't you use public transport and save petrol? Besides they have predicted more snow this week so the roads could be icy.

The signs were probably covered in snow that fell from the roof. Each heavy footstep bringing a fresh slide....

Maybe they heard you were coming and closed the lifts to prevent them from being overloaded?

Good Point. I hadn't thought of that, though that might be difficult when it is full of TVU students during term time!

Don't forget that Ealing Shopping Centre/Mall has NO public seating under cover; it is ALL in the OPEN. Not a place to be when there is weather like this!
