I need to hire a skip for my Scout Group as we are having a massive clearoutdoes anyone know any companies that do 1hr hire? as we need to keep costs down as we are a charity.

Most skip companies don't charge by the amount of time you have a skip, they charge for the skip unit itself whether you have it for 1 hr or 4 x weeks - they will however do a 'wait & load' same day drop & collection - if your skip is going on a highway you will also need a skip licence from the Council (most skip companies can obtain this for you)

How about asking the Council's Waste Minimisation Officer to come and help the Scout Group sort it out?

A skip of stuff destined for landfill? Can't you find ways of turning whatever this is into a resource?If you still can't (and what a good exercise tht would be for Scouts) then what about a hippobag or similar.
