Winter Wonderland & Santa's Grotto

Spend most of today setting up a special Xmas Wonderland & Santa's Grotto. Hard work, could do with more help/helpers specially someone who are creative and artistic as well as people who like xmas and would like to local community generally.

My Sister-in law with her Two G/children who visited the place speaks very Highly of your Efforts . The youngsters had a great time. Due to popular demand, The Winter Wonder @ Ravenor Farm will be extend for another day. Hence it will ore-opn this Saturday (18th December 2010) between 11am and 4pm.Its the likely to be the only none-commercial Santa Grotto in West London.Entrance charge £3 Child (with a gift) and £ Adult (to cover cost and raise fund for GCCA)http://greenford.ealinggazette.co.uk/2010/12/winter-wonderland-to-run-for-o.html

This weekend (11th & 12th) see the opening of The Winter Wonderland @ Ravenor Farm, Greenford. Official opening by The Mayor of Ealing and I Love Thunder, Ealing's ONLY Inclusive band will be playing there live on Saturday morning. Also Santa's will bein his Grotto meeting peole with their last minute Xmas wishes. :-))))£3 for kids and £1 for Adult, FREE car aprking (between 11am and 4pm) for (paid) visitors at Ravenor Farm.

Its at Ravenor Farm, Greenford. Which had the Christmas Bazaar & Santa's Grotto over 11 years (until 2008), as the original groups gave it up due to various personal reasons.We wanted to start it up again, but not to replicate the past, but with fresh ideas & display. The main aim is to have a none commercial Christams Grotto for the local communities. The official opening conincide with the Greenford Street Event/Market on Sat. 11am.I Love Thunder (Ealing's ONLY inclusive band) will be playing there at the opening. So are The Mayor & Steve Pound (Subject to confirmation).We only one weekend to finish things off,so could do with some help, we will be there from 10am - 3pm on Sat & Sun. Any willing helpers are most welcome.

No Takers so far. Some people are "All Talk and No...."Never mind we managed to get The Grooto set up.Still need some Volunteers fopr the next 2 weekends both to help with set up as well as running the event.Any takers???Elfs and Santa are most welcome!

Ha Ha!Yes Chaps, really funny, but really need "action" Men/Women to help. JUst got next weekend to complete everything in time for opening on Saturday 11th Dec and Sunday 12th Dec.Spend another day working on it today with 2 useful helpers. The Grotto is 95% ready with the help of a Professional Lighting Man (Anthony and his parents).Are ther another willing Volunteers out there willing to do something for the local community at Xmas???

Sounds like you have opened the crackers all ready and read the jokes Mr Lord (or is it Sir?).Actually I heard they had all signed up for the Harry Potter finale as they are all tired of being good elves and want to be bad.

My sister told her kids that she has Santa's number, maybe she could ask if he can spare a few?Many of them are a bit poorly at the moment - they sufer from low elf esteem.I did hear that Santa has relatives in Ealing, he is after all North Polish!
