Old Post Office Ealing

Is anyone else upset at the state the Royal Mail have left their old building in?  Bits of old cardboard over the letter boxes - really make it look dire.  Shouldn't they have to leave a building in good decorative order?

I thought that the Ealing Post Office was one that Royal Mail franchised to some years ago.
