First Great Western Greenford Line station Customer Information System upgrades

I have received word via an internet forum that has connections with First Great Western that Acton Main Line, as well as Ealing Broadway, West Ealing, Castle Bar Park, Drayton Green and South Greenford stations are due to have their Customer Information Systems updated sometime soon.It has been said that the full CIS system will comprise of Next train indicators, Departure screens and announcements, although people should be aware that some stations may not get next train indicators if they obstruct the view of the signal on platforms that are not very wide. Also be aware that the setup at all stations will not be exactly the same, some stations may not get certain things, etc. I will try and give more information when I have it.

Work appears to have begun at Acton Main Line to install the new Customer Information Systems. Cones were put out and areas taped off a few days ago where the new systems are to be built in place of the old ones. Not sure how long the whole process will take, but they had installed "Information Point" posts by this morning. I'm guessing other stations in the area that are due to get the upgrade will have work beginning soon, if it hasn't already started.
