Post Office

Just in case anyone is unaware, the Ealing Central Post Office has now moved from the High Street to the WH Smith on Ealing Broadway.The branch doesn't show up on the website if you do a search but I called them and confirmed it and they will update their systems asap.Cheers,N.

One better thing about the new post office is that the hours seem extended... Open until 6pm even on Saturday apparently; the old post office used to shut at lunchtime on Saturdays IIRC

I go to one in Rymans in Lower Regent street and generally that is quite friendly but it will be interesting to see how the wh smiths one gets on

The new post office seems much friendlier, however, it is a shame that WH Smith doesn't seem to turn on its air conditioning in hot weather.

I was under the impression that there was to be a "Consultation" - it appears that W H Smth and the Post Office have a done deal.

True signage can be important to some.I haven't tried the newly located post office as have one just round the corner from me, but hope it proves to be successful.

Signage is important to some forum members, but my point was that it is there outside WH Smiths.Would you say it works better in the new location?

It wasn't too bad today at around 3pm, quite a long queue which looked bad at first, but there were 7 desks open so it didn't take long to get served.

How is this working for people now it is inside WHSmith - it is a long way back inside the store but at least that creates more space to queue - if there is any.it is better than Uxbridge where to access the Post Office within WHSmith you have to proceed to the upper floor

There is also a sign on the outside which says "Post Office".
