Over 30s social clubs in ealing?

Is there any? I'm looking to expand my social circle and overcome my shyness as well  as increase my confidence, and am thinking that joining some kind of club may help.Thank you!

The West Ealing Neighbours book club is definitely going this month. This month's book is 'The Bell', by Iris Murdoch (I'm really enjoying it). Thank you all for yor replies, especially Emma!!I had thought about questors, but am not theatrically inclined in any way, unless you count hypochondria!In fact, I'm not particularly talented in any way at all.My family moved around slot when I was a child, , so I haven't any friends from school days etc, and I have suffered from depression, anxiety and shyness for a long time, which has made things hard for me.

Hi Samantha West Ealing Neighbours has a book club that meets in the Drayton Arms every months run by Sarah Judic.  All you have to do is read the book of the month and turn up! On saying that I think we are missing out August as it is not advertised on the front page of Ealing Today so I will get back to you when I know when it is and what the book is too.

I don't know of any clubs, Samantha, but if you have any interest in theatre then maybe check out the Questors. Sharing an interest with people is a much better way to make new friends than a purely social event.
