When we booked our cat into Lions Den we were asked what food he ate. When we picked him up three weeks later he had been given a different food and had not eaten properly and was very thin and traumatised. It took weeks to get him well again. The reason given was that the lady owner had been ill and her husband had been looking after the cats. This cat had been there before and the care was OK then. They did not seem to have any backup if there were problems.

Interesting. My Cat thrived there but at another did not eat. I suppose Cats are fussy creaturees and need to find a place that suits.

I would not use The Lions Den again. I left my cat there one Christmas and he was not fed properly and very thin when I collected him.

I used one in Osterley called the Lion's Den about 10 years ago which was excellent. Eccentric people who loved Cats!!!

Right, it's Ravenor Park Boarding Cattery, 31 Ravenor Park Road, UB6 9QX. Proprietors Mr & Mrs Collins (they live there). Tel 020 8578 1396. We used them several times when we had a cat, and were entirely satisfied.
