Good local glazier?

Does anyone know a good local glazier? One of our sash windows recently developed a crack running diagonally down the its length. I called the company who had installed the windows initially (local firm on Northfields Avenue) - and the service has been absolutely appalling. It has now been 3 weeks since the engineer came out to measure up the window, and I haven't heard anything from them. When I called earlier this afternoon I was advised that 'if you have a crack we wouldn't do anything about it'. So does anyone know anyone with a better service ethic? Thanks!

Don't waste your money further - just pay that bit extra and go for anglian or everest. Anglian did my windows 6 years ago and upto now still perfect. your choice - but don't cut corners, have fitted once -  go for quality.

We have also had a number of issues with the after service of a Northfield glazing company and it wasn't Allbrights...I can only sympathise with you Clare, I imagine you like us have a 10 year guarantee which you feel is not worth the paper it is printed on!  We have had a number of different issues with our double glazing and it has always been a battle every step of the way to get anything resolved, fingers crossed though we now only have one minor issue left.

I've always found Allbrights good too, but maybe that's who Clare is talking about!?
