Ginger cat near Sainsbury's

Since I moved to West Ealing a few years ago I have often met a ginger cat on my way to Sainsbury's.  Yesterday I was horrified to see said same cat in a very sorry state he is obviously starving I think he has been abandoned, I had hands full of shopping so was unable to pick him up so took shopping home and returned but couldn't find him.  Has anyone else seen this cat or do you know anything about him.  If I see him again I'm bringing him home and phoning the RSPCA but need to find him first.

Thank you Robert.  You are so right I was all ready to kidnap him and ring the RSPCA, a much better thing to do would be to speak to his owner.

The well known long-haired ginger cat resides a couple of doors into Melbourne Ave - a white camper van is normally parked up there - as he is elderly he`s probably in his last year or two rather than neglected and you may be happier if you spoke to the owner.
