traffic improvements to Ealing

good news that money has been allocated to improve traffic safety in ealing.  does anyone know whether this includes work to improve badly needed improvements on Boston Road, eg at the junction of trumpers way, and at the junction of Church Road/Uxbridge Road?

George I did find it but the minutes and therefore the correct spelling are not as yet posted. We wait with baited breath because this department has been very "thin" in my experience over the past 4 years.

George (and a Merry Christmas to you),I think his name is Donnelly not to be confused with the now retired Donnellon(sp?). The reason I can't be more accurate than this is because he introduced himself with his back to me at the last Transport and Environment Scrutiny Committee. This wasn't his fault. It is just the way the seats are arranged. You may find his name properly spelt in the minutes of that meeting 9thDec09 on the council website. George I should have looked it up for you but I don't find searches on that website good therapy at this time of year when we are asked to be generous and jolly

Meg,Sorry but money ain't everything. Within the last 4 (Barczuk/Millican) years as I understand it £50,000 each was spent on consultancy reports on at least two other traffic versus pedestrian hotspots. These reports I believe were effectively shelved and nothing done. There may have been many more? With that £100,000 we could have appointed a road safety officer. Uniquely Ealing does not have one. He if he had existed he may have been able to work with you to have made improvements even cheap simple ones to your problem junctions. Father Christmas does seem to have delivered a new man into the Traffic/Transport Dept.He looks to be a man who may be able for a change to work with the people to plug the "black hole" that has existed over the past 4 years.

The best way to inprove traffic in Ealing is to get rid of the Black cab rank in Ealing Broadway.Rude road hogs.Why do they not ever gat given a parking ticket??Is there a law against giveing a black cab driver a parking ticket?
