A few of Nigels Gems…………..I now know what subjects to post in future,rather than worrying about.er! you know what> anybody for a quick game of croquet?"My wife has an adopted penguin in the Antarctic called VanHalenJump .." Imagine calling it in for it's dinner!A friend of mine has just got a new cat called Mew Mew Flopsy Mopsy ..mmmm as I said before Nige,very worrying!I think it is rude to do such a thing. I never let our dinner guests season anything! I would have had no hesitation in questioning her (politely, of course) about her chilli sauce abuse, I would want to know why she could not try the food without it first. Having said that, some people just don't care about food, it is not important to them. Dinner parties must be a nightmare for these folk.So, my conclusion is she was very rude and next time she comes for dinner you shall put a tablespoon of St.John & Dolly Smith's "Old Nick" searingly hot scotch bonnet sauce (Farm W5 on Ealing Green stock it) in her meal, then watch her sprinkle on her own additional chilli sauce. The resultant first mouthful and her probable determination to eat it all to save huge embarrassment might be rather entertaining don't you think? Revenge is a dish best served hot, perhaps ;-)What about fish and chips, not to be eaten like savages, with the fingers, but a fish knife and fork......and snatch them quickly before they smother them in salt and vinegar...good Balsamic is preferred here.......pickled onion on the side perhaps, No very uncivilised?
