Cinema redevelopment

Has the cinrma in Ealing closed down permamnently? If so, what's being built in its place?

Empire cinemas have recently completed a £2.25 million refurbishment programme of its 10 screen cinema at Tower Park, Poole. Unless they run into financial difficulties because of the pending depression, you should end up with a very nice cinema, though internally characterless.            Click Here

Demolition to the rear is underway I noticed as I walked along Mattock Lane today - I did do a double take to check that the frontage was not being knocked down too! So far so good.

They should be demolishing the rear and keeping the frontage from what i remember

No, there's no question of a 'revamp'; the idea is that it's to be demolished and a new multi-screen cinema built in its place, though some are sceptical.

There are demolition contractors on the site now.  That doesn't sound much like a revamp.
