As well as tube links, there are many reasonable taxi firms in the area and night buses very frequent N207 and also N7 in Uxbridge Road and 24 hour route 83 service near North Ealing. Route 65 is also 24 hour as will be 297 from June and the N11 will pass near you twice at Acton Town and at destination Ealing Broadway

Depends on where you are in West Acton - but you are also near to North Ealing station which is on the Picaddilly Line.

Thanks for your replies, guys! So, I guess it must be fairly safe to live there. Transport links, especially at night might not be the best, then??

Good point about the Japanese with West Acton having the Japanese school.

West Acton has a large number of Japanese families living in the area. Maybe this has something to do with it being a bit quieter.

It seems to be one of the quietest stations on the underground and the surrounding area is peaceful too.

Yes it's a nice safe area - if any is. And there is a (ratehr expensive) minicab firm at the station for those late nights.
