But it isn't just cyclists that behave badly on the road, slthough there are still some of those.  There are still a lot of drivers who ignore the 20mph signs and race along the roads passing cyclists far too close. The other week I actually saw a woman in a sports car hoot at a pedestrian apparently for not crossing the road fast enough. Presumably the lights had changed but there isn't a huge amount of time to cross especially when there is a queue -  there is a countdown - but even so as a motorist you are supposed to proceed with care only when the road is clear and it is safe to do so!Yesterday in South Ealing Road there was a van hooting at the car in front at the roundabout because it just hadn't moved off fast enough for it.  It then proceeded to overtake that car as it moved off in the narrow road and caused the car approaching in the opposite direction to brake hard.We could do with those speed checks they are doing in Chiswick in Ealing especially to catch those arrogant motorists who deliberately really speed and obviously don't think speed restrictions should apply to themselves. Today a pedestrian pushing a buggy with a child in it chose not to cross right across the road where the pavement was lowered but make a detour to where it was difficult to push the buggy up off the road and over the kerb just to save walking a few feet more but it's where motorists and cyclists turn the corner far too fast with no view of what's ahead. That could do with a redesign and better crossing design for pedestrians.Paris years ago at speed guns that measured noise - we could do with those too to catch these speedsters too.  Increased action needs to be taken against those selfish and inconsiderate road users who are most dangerous and likely to cause damage and delay to us all.
