Hanwell Carnival

A shout out today for the Hanwell Carnival , the oldest Carnival in London returning after a break. The organisers and volunteers do great work including Paul James on photographic duty. A great community event.

Elthorne Park was really busy.A shame that there was no procession but I know that the cost of insurance for floats and the almost obscene amounts demanded for marshalling make it uneconomical.Hopefully the sunshine had people digging deep and giving generously.
