Earlier court reports stated that he lived in Ealing, hence the sentencing appearing on this site.He might have been your neighbour, Ben.

From the Press Release, except for the fact that he was sentenced in a court in the neighbouring borough, I cannot find anything locally related to this grim story. Is there a reason why it should have been published on Ealing Today?

I still have my suspicions about news.met.police.uk, however, as an aside, I KNOW about The Daily Mail.Now, the DM most would agree and say it is quite Right Wing.I can assure you that it is not, at least in it's "Comments" section after news articles.If you try to comment anything even slightly right of vanilla centre they censor and won't print it, whilst the Lefty stuff always gets printed in full.I mention this anecdote because I don't really see news.met.police.uk (especially) being any different and escaping of the Politically Correct Lefty Liberal Woke media capture.

More likely that the police press release didn’t make it to the one rain who operates this site and its sister ones in Acton, Brentford and Chiswick.Unfortunately the reason why there’s no proper local news be is that a) there are hardly any dedicated local journalists left, b) everything has to be online now and c) nobody wants to pay for their news.It’s not a liberal woke agenda. It’s cost cutting.
