Hope for Ealing from an Unlikely Direction
Word is that the council staff are absolutely fed up with the red tape and the rigid way the current lot are running things. The talk is that if the next election brings in a change of leadership, there’s a plan ready to go to save Lammas Park and get Stirling Road back open straight away. The idea is to stop paying to dump the recycling centre's landfill and use it to fill the SUDS instead. If they can dodge the landfill tax and save on the tipping fees, they can use that money to get Stirling Road up and running again
