They probably do this to keep their speed up/avoid changing down a gear etc.. they need to slow down.Also all corners need bollards to stop people driving on pavements.For example, the pavement on the south corner of mattock lane/northfield av junction is constantly getting smashed up because drivers cut across it.I reported it to council a while back (again) and it was relaid, and now it's as badly smashed up as it was before. All it needs is a bollard to stop this happening.And yeah, some cars are above maximum width and don't fit inside council parking bays for instance so drivers might have trouble navigating back streets in them, see it all the time.
