Demolition of Victorian Mews Cottages

Good idea to make the whole area deeply hideous. We don't want any nice bits standing out do we?

It is almost certainly to be Springbridge Mews, a row of Victorian cottages off Springbridge Road by the multi-storey car park, that is built over the railway line by the bridge. The bridge sparates Springbridge Road from Haven Green.The planning application reference number is 261188FUL. "Anyone wishing to comment on application 261188FUL may do so via the Ealing Council planning portal at pam.ealing.gov.uk before 21 April 2026."

If you go up Springbridge Road from Uxbridge Road, immediately before you get to the multi-storey car park entrance on the left there is an entrance to a small mews. There used to be a photographic studio there that I used thirty years ago for product shots and also the Vogue Gallery which had a good selection of works for sale.Just another bit of heritage lost to the Philistines.
