The poorest teams always get relegated, so deserved it over a 38 game season. The biggest factor for clubs like Spurs is instability, rather than lack of money at clubs like Wolves and Burnley. Spend some time with top flight footballers and you will realise how brittle most of them are, and constant change behind the scenes unsettles them, hence poor performances on the pitch.Physically there’s not much difference between most of the players in the Premier League. It’s the five percent between the ears that count and at the moment Spurs players have lost that. It’s why Newcastle have had two relegations in the PL era. However, they will probably get away with it this season.
