Dean Atta - BAFTA winner

Did anyone see the article on this website about Ealing resident Dean Atta winning a BAFTA for best animated short film at this year’s ceremony?He is of course just the latest in a line of this borough’s successful BAFTA (and Oscar) winners, but his Instagram post from Sunday night of a photo of him on the tube with his award, captioned ‘Taking my BAFTA home to Ealing’ made me chuckle.Congratulations Mr Atta!

Yes, and it was good to see the film festival get a mention on the ITV London news last night.
