Recycling/Rubbish Question

According to the LBE leaflet I received recently they won’t accept textiles in either rubbish or recycling.Obviously if anything can be used by someone else it goes to a charity shop. But I have clothes and bedding that are just simply worn out and have no further use.What am I supposed to do ?Contacting anyone at Ealing Gov seems impossible any help is welcome.

There's also a clothes bin at the far end of the Waitrose car park.

We regularly leave out textiles on recycling day. There doesn't seem to be any issue if you just put them in a plastic bag.

According to the council's website, textiles can be accepted. Put in a separate bag marked 'textiles' on top of the blue bin.https://www.ealing.gov.uk/info/201171/recycling_services/292/re-use_and_recycling_centres_and_sites/4
