Window Restoration

I am an overseas landlord with a flat in a Grade II listed building on The Park, W5, looking for a joiner specialising in window repair to replace rotten parts of the frame.

Apologies for being vague.  One of the things Dave did for my mother was to restore some mildly damaged Edwardian window frames. How extensive his skills are, I really don't know but he might be able to recommend someone appropriate should you still need someone.

Thank you Gordon. The planning department do have a conservation officer, Mark Price, and he can be contacted at PriceM@ealing.gov.uk I hadn't realised either that The Park is in a Conservation Area, Ealing Green. Mind you, with living abroad so long, nearly 30 years, I could just have forgotten!

My mother recently used a very adept painter decorator with many years of experience in this area.  She was very happy with the standard of his work and he was very flexible in working around her sudden illness. Might be worth contact the planning department (who I think now have a conservation officer) who may be able to advise on getting someone who will do the repair in line with the requirements of the listing and what I believe is a conservation area.
