'Intentionally homeless'

A mother of 3 is going to make herself homeless unless the council gives her a home where she wants to be. Where is the father or fathers of those children - shouldn't they be sorting out her housing problems?

As I say no father figure. Not much  more needs to be said.90% of these people stuck in such accommodation  have a nasty partner, who is vermin himself and no good to society.Harsh but true.

Article mentions ‘ex-partner’ and ‘restraining order’ which might have some bearing on her circumstances. Having said that, Harrow isn’t a million miles from Feltham, though any move can disrupt childcare and schooling, etc.

Is the father alive? Is the father in prison? Is the woman a victim of Domestic Violence? There are other possible reasons too.
