Who are the worst Ealing councillors?

There seems to be ever increasing dissatisfaction with our councillors across Ealing, concerns that they are self serving and ignore residents' wishes and priorities. Criticism of the local cabal of Labour councillors and MPs is increasing. So, who are the worst and why?

Obviously the Ealing planning department who time after time completely disregard the thousands of objectors to & campaign groups against tall towers, ignore their own Planning Framework and are intent on turning Ealing into Croydon!  What is more, one of them came to a massively-well attended local meeting at Drayton Court pub, swore he was there to serve and was listening to residents who were so upset by what is happening to Centrel Ealing, West Ealing and Uxbridge  Road and then a week later announced they had approved plans for the most controversial of the developments - speculative student accommodation!

Cllr Manor also appears to be ambivalent to the existence of the Heritage Quarter which has now been in existence for nearing a quarter of a century. Lammas park and Walpole are at the heart of it. And protection was mooted then for the long term retention and preservation of the Parks buildings. Something that all three parties supported.

Don’t forget that party loyalty comes first and last. Dissenting voices aren’t tolerated and councillors will be kicked out of the party for ‘uncomradely behaviour’.As for engagement, councillors only listen to people who echo their views. Ignore everyone else is the standard mode.The level of ignorance is staggering. Remember the furore recently about the planning application for the East Lodge in Lammas Park? Seems even Cllr Manro doesn’t realise it’s within council powers to locally list historic buildings. He’s only been cabinet member for planning for years…..

It's ALL about Politics and Ideology with these gross incompetents, they don't give a toss about anything else and Residents come last.Informed, intelligent people know this.Including the informed and intelligent Liebore voters I know.Against the grain, there ARE one or two Labour Ward Councillors who actually Do The Job - Dan Crawford is one.

You’re wasting your time with James Murray. Like most MPs he’s perfectly happy to tell untruths. Asked about the coal mine in Cumbria that could  have provided the specialised coal for Scunthorpe he pretended it wasn’t suitable. Richard Tice went up there and spoke to mining experts & of course it is.So now we are going to be shelling out importing this coal from China. Thanks.

Mason will not upset his fellow Labour councillors, they're quite happy with their snouts in the trough and if he upsets them they will do to him what he did to Julian Bell. The only hope is to vote the whole bloody lot of them out of office.

The rot starts at the top - Peter Mason.If he was anywhere even remotely close to doing his job, Labour Ward Councillors would be doing theirs.          BOOT LABOUR OUT!

I wrote to James Murray & did get a  reply.The issue remained unresolved, followed by a lot of lip service about what  laws are in place & what could happen- but actually doesn’t.Rupa Huq took an age to reply with same sort of answer.Then I think it was because I pointed out in several platforms her silence.Finally Gareth Shaw, silence is deafening .A lot of faceless officials doing what & when they like & not acting for the people of the borough
