A safe haven for criminals -Action required in Ealing

We have a real issue with money laundering in Ealing with Vape shops, Barbers and fast food restaurants that are fronts for the laundering of money for drug gangs and for people trafficking.A quick walk along any shopping street in Ealing will show you many examples of shops and restaurants that are often refurbished regularly or continue to trade without customers.It's time for Ealing Council (Trading standards) and the police to investigate these shops and take action like other countries. I feel that in many cases, a blind eye is turned to these shops and restaurants to try and show that our high street is vibrant rather than with closed shops. Which would residents prefer?

Police and Powers That Be don't give a flying fornication, obviously. If these myriad fronts have been known to the public for what they are for over a decade, they were certainly known to the Police and PTB, so they serve some sort of ourpose. Thereis a suspect restaurant on Acton Hill which changes hands evry two years or so. Never any  people eating there but there is  a susoicious below ground venue , late evening onwards with loud  music blasting out .

Anyone else increasingly feel like the whole country needs to be picked up and given a good shake to get rid of unwanted this,that and the other? Housing is miles behind,the police are increasingly ineffective or discredited when crime is rising,the health service is failing,illegl immigration is rampant,the cost of living rising..I could go on,but fill in the gaps for yourself.

Agree 100%. It’s quite obvious the police have just stopped investigating certain types of criminal activity. How we fix this is anyone’s guess. This country is broke  for all intents and purposes.
