Who is Lewis Hammond?

I've seen his/her/their name mentioned a lot here, even though he/she/they aren't posting. Is this a generic name, like "John Thomas" or an actual person? And if he/she/they are a person, do they have a legal case for defamation against Sharon Bewley?

I think you will find that the meaning of 'John Thomas' is far from generic but is quite specific to the male gender,although nowadays others not born with the correct configuration of chromosomes might claim to have one.There used to be a saying 'We are all John Thomas's children'.
