Suicide?

West Ealing folks riddled with rumours yesterday about another local death.  A lady apparently committed suicide - falling from some height from a building in the centre of West Ealing.Also someone has said the stabbed male in his 30s found in Oaklands Road two night ago was Polish and a respected member of the community.Anyone know any more?

Yesterday at 08:30 I was in West Ealing, Brownlow Rd was cordoned off & the corpse covered in situ, unfortunately.This morning there are floral tributes, cards too with tributes to the young lady,so it seems it’s a tragic suicide.As for the murder (Grosvenor Rd) the chap was attacked & staggered into a premises for help, where again unfortunately they succumbed to their injuries

It is not unreasonable for Eric to request more information give that wild rumours, most of which are contradictory and false, have been circulating since these tragic events. However, people should bear in mind that there are ongoing police inquiries and you definitely shouldn't share anything that you don't know to be 100% true. One additional point is that suicide is no longer generally considered to be a crime or a sin so it is not something you 'commit'. 'Died by suicide' is the form of words suggested by the Samaritans.

Is the individual saying not to spread rumours the same one who talked about starting a petition on safety on the A4 just last week? All based on something he heard via ‘word of mouth’. I think it is.Maybe just stick to facts.

I’m not entirely comfortable with using this forum as a rumour-mill for what are extremely sensitive events, and I would politely urge us not to.
