Sweden has finally seen the light, will Idiot UK wake up?

I doubt it, not under Comrade Starmer and his hell bent Politburo we won't.And the Conservatives and LibDems are no better, they are all useless and uncaring about Uncontrolled immigration. (As opposed to Controlled immigration, which most people don't have a problem with.)

Where's this ‘uncontrolled’ come from? If you mean asylum seekers and refugees, they are (eventually) assessed and either accepted or deported. They are also a tiny fraction of the million or so a year of ‘approved’ immigrants who have permission to come here to work or study or because they come from Ukraine or Hong King. Depressing thing is that all parties are going on about reducing these numbers as well, in response to anti-immigrant prejudice in some parts, rather than saying we need these people and should welcome them and be pleased they find our country so attractive!
