The third party insurance I have for me when I'm cycling is £35 a year.I probably don't need it either as I have public liabilioty insurance from my house insurance, that specifically excludes driving or riding motor vehicles, but not cycling or just being out in public.I'm just about to buy an electric bike, and will insure that for theft, that's coming up at about £120 a year.Just look at some of the big car crashes we've had recently where multiple occupants or people around have been killed, and infrastructure, other cars and houses have been seriously damaged, insurance payouts for those to various parties must be in the millions for each incident.
