Amazing at a time when the little donut is near to re-naming the lines for a cool £6.3m of our money in his latest virtue signalling move. PC over safety anyone?

I have never heard anyone refer to it as The Orange Line.

I agree that geographical names would have been more sensible. Our local line will always be the North London Line to me as it was when I first used it in 1974.
FAR too much common sense there Mr Evans. Why not Virtue Signal and spaff millions in the process? That is a MUCH better Lefty Solution. 😆

Very true. Most people will still call it the Overground or the ‘orange line’ anyway.

I think many people would have been happier with new Overground names that in some way suggested where they went. North London Line, East London Line, Watford Line and Barking Line, etc., might have been a good start.

The overground lines do need separate names, like the tube lines. It's useless the local news saying that there are 'delays on the overground' which could be anywhere in London. Doesn't really matter what the names are.
