Street Cleaning, Council’s Green Sacks
Our road, Netheravon Road is adjacent the Hanwell Health Centre, when the Street Cleaning Operative fills his Green Sacks they are left on the pavement which are not collected for days.We have at present sacks which have been there for eleven days. Our road is used by mums with prams , the elderly and the disabled attending their appointments at the Health Centre, these Green Sacks on the uneven pavement are an added obstacle, especially in the dark evenings.I am ninety years young and have experienced the above.Surely the Councils contractor can roster when the road has been cleaned the sacks are removed at a maximum the day after. Alternatively as our road is a ‘Dead End’ the sacks could be placed by the Street Cleaning Operative on the Green Verge adjacent the Health Centre at the entrance to the road.
