So very, very few of these elected people who are either too dense to comprehend their decision making or something else, or scared stiff of their Party standing and prospects ever get brought to book and face the consequences.We see it too often in this country.The Post Office scandal is one. Those who oversaw, knew and did nothing. Not only avoided being brought to book, but collected pay offs, pensions and probably free stamps for life, but also walked into other directorships and top posts.This is the same in Local Councils. Failure ( or success as they see it) is highly rewarded.A Gravy Train that somehow even runs unchecked during leaves on line, strikes and signal failures.
