Former CEO Najsarek in the news again.This appeared on the internet yesterday.A former chief executive of a London borough council was awarded more than £325,000 after leaving his role, new research has revealed. Paul Najsarek left Ealing Council in December 2021, with officials saying the sum consisted of “salary, compensation for loss of office and employer pension contributions”.It was also reported in Daily Mail.Reminiscent, I thought, of his handout from Bolton.Little wonder Council Tax goes up.

Utterly scandalous but it is the Government that leads by example and successive governments going back 50 years are as culpable as the Local Authorities and institutions who ape them.Woe betide anyone who makes a stand or tries to interfere by changing this morally corrupt culture that spawns such decline in the standards so many strived were persecuted and died for over hundreds of years of trying to end such abuse.Nothing really changes only the presentation of it.

I now read with horror: "Paul Najsarek has been appointed as the interim Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman, following the retirement of current Ombudsman Michael King at the end of the month.  Remembering the way he dealt with complaint I made when he was here in Ealing, I believe this means the end of accountability in public life.

No idea why Central Government allows this Local Government farce to continue, guess it's a case of Troughs All Round, and that goes for ALL the Parties.I recall Maggie was intending to "sort" Local Government out.The System is completely rotten to the core and has been for some time, something has to give at some point.
